Commissioners said the original 50-vehicle limit had been the applicant's own number at the time of the prior hearing; some commissioners expressed reluctance to change that limit without clearer evidence supporting a larger number and without drafting conditions to mitigate potential impacts. One commissioner recommended a legal meeting to address outstanding legal questions about conditions and findings.
A motion to table the application for legal discussion and to return it to the board on Jan. 26 carried by unanimous voice vote.
