Council reappoints Gary Young to Board of Appeals, approves slate of advisory committee members

Mayor Ashman recognized Young in the audience and asked the room to give him a round of applause. The council then approved a slate of additional appointments and reappointments to advisory committees — including Community Impact, Multicultural Affairs, Police Advisory, Senior Advisory, Youth Enrichment, Culture & Arts, and Transportation — in a single motion and voice vote; staff recorded the action as carrying 5‑0.
Mayor Ashman encouraged residents to consult the city website for openings on boards and committees and to consider volunteering.
