L.A. County Fire: 863 responses in July in Carson; two structure fires displaced four residents

The battalion chief said the 43 fire responses included two structure fires that displaced a total of four residents; the Red Cross was contacted and provided assistance to those households. Approximately 25 of the 43 fire responses were outdoor rubbish fires.
Of the nearly 700 emergency medical responses, 131 patients were transported by advanced life support (paramedics), 300 were transported by basic life support personnel and ambulance companies, and 140 patients refused transport after treatment.
The battalion chief closed the report with no further questions from council members at the meeting.
