Board remarks emphasized Crick's role in enhancing transparency and accountability at SSA and cited a 2018 employee excellence award as one recognition of his work. Crick addressed the board at the podium, saying, "Just wanna say thank you to the whole SSA team and to everybody else who's really made difference over the years. I'm sure you guys will do great without me." The board concluded the recognition with photographs.
