Personnel and handbooks
The board approved the submitted July personnel report and several staffing actions, including newly accepted offers for a high-school business position, a special-education teacher at Central, a fifth-grade teacher, a paraprofessional at Hornet Park and a media-center specialist. Administrators said they were finalizing onboarding for two bus drivers and a bus monitor and are awaiting Department of Defense approval for an assistant JROTC instructor whose paperwork the district has submitted.
The board approved the 2025–26 administrators, classified and transportation handbooks. Administrators said the transportation handbook was substantially rewritten — from roughly six or seven pages to more than forty — and will show redline changes in future reapprovals for transparency.
