Liberty County Commissioners on Tuesday approved a series of payments and a change order tied to ARPA-funded sanitary sewer rehabilitation work for the City of Hardin.
Permits & Inspections staff presented Change Order No. 1 from LJA Engineering Inc. for $329,449 related to the Hardin sanitary sewer rehabilitation project, and the court approved the request. The court also approved estimate payment request No. 3 to King Solutions Services LLC for $250,139.16, and two invoices from Schaumburg & Polk Inc. totaling $11,880 for Ames sanitary sewer improvement services. In addition the court approved an LGA Engineering invoice for $996.25 for wastewater engineering services, all to be funded with ARPA allocations.
Staff said backup documentation and signatures were attached in the packet. Commissioners moved and seconded the motions and the court voted to approve the change order and the payments. Staff noted these were routine contract payments and part of the county's ARPA-funded obligations to support the City of Hardin sewer rehabilitation program.
