The commission accepted the direction and asked for regular updates to ensure the project is evaluated alongside other library projects and capital priorities.
Commissioners asked that feasibility work include consideration of the library's program mix and community needs; final site selection and any lease or purchase would require commission approval and funding decisions during the county budget process.
