Planning staff Tara Vargas gave a rapid overview of pre-application activity across Council districts.
Highlights included an 800-square-foot addition to a hospital radiation center, townhomes (22 units) in The Meadows, an interactive game-show attraction in an industrial park, a proposed multifamily development of about 322 units in The Meadows, a rezoning pre-application for Alexander Place to allow 51 single-family homes, a proposed fiber conduit and fiber build of roughly 7,000 linear feet in Lanterns, and a proposed QuikTrip fueling center (developer described 20 pumps, convenience store and associated car wash). Vargas also noted CDOT submitted pre-applications for three potential mobility-hub locations along I-25 to support interregional bus service; staff is providing submittal requirements and these are not formal site selections.
Vargas emphasized these were pre-applications (not formal applications) and that projects must return with site-development plans, traffic studies and neighborhood outreach before formal staff and public review.
