During the Jan. 6 meeting the Moore County Board of Commissioners approved three appointment motions for advisory boards.
Commissioner [unnamed] moved to appoint Frank Thichman as chairman of the Moore County Board of Adjustment; the motion was seconded and approved by voice vote. The board then moved and approved the appointment of Oscar Romine as vice chair. Lastly, the board reappointed Boyd London as the extraterritorial-jurisdiction (ETJ) representative on the Foxfire Village Board of Adjustment for a two-year term; that motion likewise carried by voice vote.
These are routine appointments to advisory bodies and were approved without recorded roll-call tallies.
What happens next: appointees will assume their roles on the Board of Adjustment and the county clerk will note the appointments in official records.
