Loveland council adopts 2026 city and related budgets on consent agenda, votes 8‑0

The clerk announced the motion passed, 8 to 0.
Public comment during the meeting also raised objections and concerns about specific budgetary allocations and developer incentives. One speaker, Darren Barrett, questioned an earlier posted figure of $2,000,000 of sales tax revenue going to the DDA and pressed staff and council for transparency; others asked for extended audits of the Loveland Urban Renewal Authority (URA) and related contracts.
No ordinances were removed from the consent agenda for separate consideration at this meeting. The council adjourned after completing the consent vote.
