City inspector general audit finds gaps in CPD disciplinary records; issues 11 recommendations

The City of Chicago’s Office of Inspector General released an audit Dec. 16 that found significant gaps and inconsistencies in the Chicago Police Department’s recordkeeping for finalized discipline, Deputy Inspector General Tabara Richardson told the Police Board on Dec. 18.
