The board moved to concur with the town manager’s appointment of Jacqueline Bonner as town accountant, with a term through June 30, 2028. The board also moved to appoint Rachel Wagensburg as an alternate member of the Zoning Board of Appeals, with a term expiring June 30, 2028; that motion was seconded and approved.
On liquor‑license renewals, the board reviewed the annual inspection status for several restaurants. Torito Westborough’s owner acknowledged a late application and three items flagged in the inspection that must be corrected (CO detector, one emergency light, and a water test), while building and fire‑safety staff identified additional items including sprinkler and fire‑alarm deficiencies, front‑egress lights, kitchen hood suppression reports, and hydrant/extinguisher paperwork. Staff told the owner that if the items are corrected and the certificate returned, the license renewal can proceed without a further board vote; the board emphasized the importance of completing the required work promptly.
