ECC Corporation outlines schedule for municipal building project; construction documents due June 30

"We just got on board and this is great news," Knox said, noting the contract was under review and that ECC expected to finalize contract comments by the end of the month. She said the design team (Signal Works) was currently targeting a construction-document set delivery to the town by June 30.
Brian Frigon, ECC's owner's project manager for the job, said the planned schedule calls for a peer review of the construction documents after delivery, a July–August bidding period, an award of a contractor in late summer and a construction start in fall 2025. Frigon said ECC had completed a site walk with Chief Lafferty at the police station to verify site logistics.
Knox said ECC is also investigating potential grant opportunities and options for community updates, including a project web link or QR code, and suggested monthly update meetings with the council while the town moves through contract, design review and bidding stages.
No formal council action was taken on the presentation; council members asked schedule questions and a councilor suggested monthly status updates.
Ending: ECC will return with finalized contract language and schedule refinements as documents and bids move forward; staff will coordinate grant research and resident communications.
