After discussion about whether to keep Fun Days in June or move it to July, councilmembers settled on the weekend of July 11–12 to reduce calendar conflicts and allow more lead time for planning.
Council members asked staff and volunteers to begin preparations immediately and to coordinate with car-show organizers and neighboring municipalities to avoid scheduling conflicts. The council acknowledged potential budget implications for the event and instructed departments and volunteers to begin task assignments and fundraising or budget planning as needed.
No formal roll-call vote was required; councilmembers reached a consensus during the work session and confirmed the dates.
