Staff clarified the program is limited to residential compost and does not accept commercial or yard waste at this time.
Staff also reported that the Stots Mill affordable‑housing duplex the town is building is framed and on schedule for summer delivery; the units are currently prioritized for town employees as a recruiting measure. Planning staff said they will soon begin work with a consultant on several additional affordable‑housing initiatives, including a deed‑restriction incentive program, an accessory‑dwelling‑unit (ADU) program, a review of the town’s affordable‑housing mitigation rate and long‑term funding mechanism exploration.
Commissioners asked for a look‑ahead on meeting dates to help plan travel and requested a presentation from the West Mountain Regional Housing Coalition at a future meeting in April.
