Planning Board tables bond items, appoints Sustainable Westborough representative and sets meeting schedule

The Planning Board took several administrative actions at its Aug. 5 meeting. Members voted to table two items — a request for a performance bond reduction and a review of subdivision sureties — and continue them to the Sept. 2 meeting at the applicants’ request.
The board appointed Caroline as the Planning Board’s representative to Sustainable Westborough. Members noted the Central Massachusetts Regional Planning Commission (CMRPC) requires representatives be town residents; because Director Jenny Dingrish is not a Westborough resident, the board asked staff to advertise for a second, resident representative to serve as the Planning Board’s CMRPC delegate.
The board approved the July 1 meeting minutes and discussed upcoming meeting dates (Sept. 2, Sept. 16, Oct. 7, Oct. 21) and possible rescheduling of the Oct. 21 meeting because it coincides with fall Town Meeting. The meeting closed with a motion to enter executive session.
