Ken Strom of WDA Design Group presented a minor modification request for 12 Union Street that parcels a portion of the Reliance Medical Group property (Lot G8). Director of Planning Jenny Dingrish told the board the change does not alter the use or configuration of the building and therefore qualifies as a minor modification to the Downtown Planning Overlay District special permit.
A board member moved and the board approved findings that the application is a minor modification to the special permit approval dated Sept. 13, 2005, and approved the modification with conditions that carry forward the terms of the original site-plan approval. The approval was limited to the modifications shown on the site plan titled "Approval of Land Not Required" prepared by WDA Design Group dated July 15, 2025.
Following that vote the board moved to endorse the ANR (Approval Not Required) plan of land prepared by WDA Design Group dated July 15, 2025 and revised July 24, 2025 for the lot at 12 Union Street; the board approved the ANR endorsement.
Both actions were procedural and conditioned on standard terms noted in the motion; the board recorded no roll-call vote totals in the transcript beyond unanimous assent by voice.
