Following adoption of the policy, the board voted to state its intent to name the cemetery located at Nurse Street and to begin the public nomination and posting process per policy requirements (public notice, newspaper posting). Staff noted that the process will include public outreach and opportunities for nominations and that the historical commission’s review will appear in the board packet when nominations are presented.
