Staff reported that videos for award recipients had been filmed and that organizers were awaiting a small amount of drone and B‑roll footage. The committee discussed the event flow and agreed that staff would introduce recipients rather than having each member present. The organizer reported five confirmed sponsors and about $1,600 in leftover funds from last year; staff said checks from some sponsors were still outstanding and asked the committee to follow up with assigned contacts.
Members suggested using the EDC awards event to distribute postcards promoting the June 11 downtown public meeting and invited grantees and past award recipients to increase attendance. The committee also discussed logistics for the morning of the event and which staff members would handle setup.
