Council hears Bluff Water Works update, plans joint meeting and praises first Dark Sky Festival

Councilmembers who attended the Bluff Water Works special-service-district meeting on Nov. 12 gave a brief report Nov. 18, noting a public budget hearing scheduled for Dec. 10 at 7 p.m. at the library (old jail). Members encouraged the public and future council representatives to attend the water-district meeting to review the 2026 budget.
The council also reminded members of a joint meeting with the Planning & Zoning Commission set for Nov. 20 and discussed which council members will represent Bluff on external boards going forward.
Separately, members praised the town’s first Dark Sky Festival, estimating 125–130 attendees inside the venue on Friday night, and expressed intent to plan another festival next year based on strong community interest.
