Chair Hazel Nurse asked planning staff to track compliance with a prior approval that requires the applicant (referred to in the transcript as "Faruk") to secure a certified project manager/construction engineer before continuing work; staff reported the initially proposed person had not been accepted by the board and the matter remains open. Nurse said she wanted the planning staff to "keep track of that before he continues on with what he's doing."
The board approved two sets of minutes (Nov. 19 and Dec. 3) by motion and reviewed the year's meeting calendar to avoid school vacation conflicts; members agreed to adjust a February meeting to better accommodate schedules and noted a joint meeting with the Select Board on Feb. 16 at 6 p.m.
During the public comment portion, a resident asked whether discussion of a restaurant at Park Street and Route 9 was on the agenda; the chair replied the item is scheduled for the board's next meeting. The resident said neighbors had expected the posting and will return at the next meeting to speak to the item.
The board adjourned after the administrative items and thanked Westboro TV for recording the meeting.
