Scappoose committee approves agenda and minutes, recognizes outgoing member Paul Fidrich

Later in the meeting, Chair recognized Paul Fidrich, who has served on the economic development committee since November 2022 and will conclude his service in November 2025. The committee presented a certificate of appreciation and members thanked Fidrich for his contributions to committee work and local branding efforts. Fidrich said he welcomed new faces on the committee and credited the role with helping generate discussion and ideas.
During public comment, Joe (who identified himself as being from the City of Scappoose) offered thanks to Fidrich for his committee service and assistance to staff. The Chair closed the meeting by confirming future meeting dates: Dec. 18 (pending availability), Jan. 15 and Feb. 19, and wished attendees a happy Thanksgiving and holiday season before adjourning.
