Committee refers interlocal agreement to provide EMS services to City of Edmonds to Jan. 20 consent
Summary

Snohomish County staff asked the Health and Community Services Committee to refer an interlocal agreement under which the county's Department of Emergency Management would provide emergency medical services to the City of Edmonds to GLS and the Jan. 20 consent agenda.
Counsel staff noted that the cost of services is covered under a separate contract approved previously by Motion 25-521 and that the Snohomish County Regional Fire Authority has agreed to pay for the city's contract. Staff said the agreement term would run from Jan. 1, 2025, through Dec. 31, 2027 and requested that the committee move the item to GLS for consideration.
Committee members had no objections and the chair moved the item to the Jan. 20 consent agenda. No final approval was recorded at Tuesday's meeting; GLS and council action remain required for implementation.
