County committee refers Bothell naloxone agreement amendment to GLS for consideration

Snohomish County staff asked the Health and Community Services Committee to refer an amendment to the City of Bothell agreement for naloxone distribution to Governmental Legislative Services (GLS) for consideration.
Nicole Corley, counsel staff, told the committee that Motion 20610 would approve Amendment 1 to the Bothell agreement. "If approved, the contract will be extended through 2030 and may be extended for 2 additional 5 year terms," she said, adding that there is no exchange of funds associated with the agreement.
Committee members raised no objections and the chair moved the item to the Jan. 20 consent agenda. The committee took no final vote on the contract amendment at Tuesday's meeting.
Next steps: the amendment is scheduled for GLS review and placement on the Jan. 20 consent agenda; final approval will depend on council action or whether the item is pulled from consent.
