The Coos Bay City Council adopted Resolution 25‑39 to accept and dedicate sanitary sewer improvements privately constructed for a 15‑lot subdivision along Park Place.
Jennifer, a city staff presenter, said the Red Moon subdivision project completed 500 feet of 6‑inch PVC sewer main and four manholes and that the work was inspected by the project engineer and approved by the Oregon Department of Environmental Quality. She cited Oregon Administrative Rule requiring municipal ownership and maintenance of any sanitary sewers serving more than two tax lots. Staff recommended adoption of Resolution 25‑39 to accept the public improvements and dedicate the sewer to the city.
Council moved, seconded and approved adoption by voice vote with no opposition. Staff will record the dedication and incorporate the sewer into city infrastructure responsibilities.
