Staff opened nominations under the Coos Bay Municipal Code provision cited at the meeting, and Commissioner Jared Schmidt nominated the incumbents. Commissioner Patrick Bridgingard seconded the nominations; the commission approved by voice vote and the presiding officer declared, “Motion carries.”
The reappointments follow the commission’s standard annual procedure for officer selection. No alternate nominees were put forward during the discussion. The commission will review officer assignments again at the start of the next calendar year.
