New recreation staff Kira Douthit introduced; committee set December events

Kira Douthit introduced herself to the Senior Resident Advisory Committee on Dec. 8, saying, "My name is Kira Douthit. I am the new Darcy at the RC." She said she was thankful to meet the group and that she would distribute her contact information to members.
Dorsey, who said this was her last meeting serving as recording secretary, told the committee she will assist Kira while the new staff member transitions into the role. "As Kira introduced herself, she'll be taking over. This is officially my last meeting as the recording secretary, but I'll still be around," Dorsey said.
Staff announced two upcoming December programs: a cozy winter social on Dec. 18 at the Reynaud Center from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. ($7 for residents and $9 for nonresidents) and a Senior Learning Institute seminar, "Managing Your Legacy and Assets," on Dec. 17 at 10 a.m. at the O'Fallon Senior Center. Staff said additional details and presenter information would be provided later and that Kira would circulate her email and phone number to committee members.
