The owners said the loan will help purchase a point‑of‑sale system and booths, tables and chairs, items they said were more expensive than anticipated. They also said the business expects to employ more than 25 people and will include a private upstairs dining room that can seat about 50.
Campbell moved the disbursement; Jeremy Daters seconded. The clerk took a roll call vote; all members present voted yes and the motion carried.
The board discussed paperwork and next steps after the vote. A public commenter later thanked the board for supporting local businesses and noted broader regional investment projects underway.
The action was approved as a pulled consent‑agenda item and will be documented in county records. Owners asked to complete paperwork with county staff following the meeting.
