Senate recognizes Computer Science Education Week; Delaware entrepreneur urges AI literacy

Under personal privilege, Malcolm Coley — introduced as the founder of ReadyPROMT — addressed the chamber. Coley urged legislators to treat AI literacy as a core educational priority, saying that AI now underpins multiple local industries and calling it "the most critical infrastructure of our time." He cited a prior AI summit held last July with more than 310 attendees and said organizers secured about $20,000 in sponsorships. Coley invited senators to an HBCU AI Summit and Innovation Venture at Delaware State University planned for April 16.
The Senate recorded a roll-call vote of 21 yes to pass the concurrent resolution on Computer Science Education Week.
