Board member Bridal presented the plan and described it as a framework to prioritize library focus areas and purchasing across district libraries. When asked by a board member whether there had been any changes since the plan's prior presentation, Bridal replied, "There have been no updates to the plan." The board then moved to a voice vote.
A motion to approve the 2025–2030 WAWM District Library Plan was moved and seconded and passed by voice vote. The board did not record a roll-call tally in the transcript; the chair called "Aye" and declared the motion passed.
The plan will serve as the district's guide for library priorities and purchasing in collaboration with school library staff and innovation coaches. Bridal thanked those in attendance and the presenters for work on the plan; no amendments or conditions were announced at the time of approval.
