The Junction City City Council unanimously recommended approval of a liquor license application for Jersey’s Bar to the Oregon Liquor and Cannabis Commission on Dec. 16. Councilors moved and seconded the recommendation after staff told the council the bar is changing ownership and the new owner had applied to continue alcohol service.
City staff told the council they had no objections after reviewing the application and related materials. Councilor Mason moved to recommend approval; Councilor Jamieson seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously.
The council did not record any conditions on the recommendation in the meeting discussion. The recommendation will be forwarded to the OLCC for the licensing authority’s final decision.
