Staff said it would prepare a formal posting, share details on application timing and promote the opening on social media. Commissioners did not take formal action at the meeting on the appointment process; staff asked interested residents to apply when the notice is published.
The vacancy was presented as a brief staff announcement at the start of the meeting; commissioners wished Commissioner Walmsley well and noted the commission expects to continue meeting in January to address the Old Town strategic action plan.
