Stringham said the foundation was formed in memory of her mother and that donating the books was intended to "further conversation about not just the atrocities of the Holocaust but also the strength and result of human spirit." The library thanked Stringham and volunteers for their roles in the exhibit and associated programs.
Board members discussed attendance, parking challenges during events and outreach to schools. Staff said the exhibit and related programs offered opportunities for community learning and that lessons from the event will inform future outreach.
