Library Director Josh Johnson told the board, "There won't be any audited figures for last year until July," while describing routine timing for year‑end reporting.
The board approved a contract with Vision Graphics to print and hang six acrylic photographic panels as library artwork; staff said the photography portion of the project ran just over $4,000 and the printing and installation were roughly $6,400–$6,500. The board also ratified an amendment to contract 2041073 with Modern Outwest PLLC to adjust the guaranteed maximum design price for the Bountiful Branch restoration and to reflect an architect fee that staff described as about 8 percent of the projected construction cost.
Library staff explained and the board approved renewal of EBSCO services covering the MyHeritage genealogy database and Flipster digital magazines. Staff noted fewer magazine titles with the renewal and that most titles allow unlimited simultaneous checkouts while some publications remain limited by publisher rules.
In formal votes by voice the board approved a lease with Liberty Hills Academy for a temporary Bountiful location during renovation, and approved extended hours on March 20, 2026 at the Layton branch for a long‑standing spring activity (6:30 p.m.–8:30 p.m.). Justin Wright moved to establish Ryan Nelson as chair immediately through the full term ending in June 2027; the motion passed. Rosalie Taylor was selected as vice chair through June 2027.
