Bolen said two burials occurred recently and that he logged his 300th burial while serving in the sexton role. He estimated the cemetery contains "over 1,300" burials and said about 41 people are on the waiting list for plots. For an upcoming wreath/flag event the sexton said there were about 162 veterans on the cemetery list and volunteers will identify graves and place colored markers for winter visibility.
