Planning commission approves minutes, agrees to transmit three topics to council

The commission unanimously approved the Nov. 18 regular meeting minutes and the Sept. 16 minutes (the latter with suggested wording edits). Commissioners agreed to transmit summaries of three discussion topics (general plan commercial discussion, use of town land north of Town Hall, and general plan format) to the incoming town council and asked staff to include the memo in council meeting materials in January. The commission also discussed its 2026 work plan items — general plan update, potential zoning and table-of-uses revisions, conditional use permit standards, and bylaws review — and planned Open and Public Meetings Act training for continuing commissioners.
Adjournment: Elena Hughes moved to adjourn, Colleen Thompson seconded and the commission adjourned at 7:49 PM.
