Members raised concerns about ADA approaches, driveway alignments and contractor timing (chip‑seal schedules) that could affect when pavement markings can be installed. Council directed staff and Nash to inspect proposed sites and report back with practical placement options and any required driveway approach modifications. The motion to proceed with the 10th North crosswalk and examine seminary-area options passed by roll call.
Council said the seminary-area crossing is needed where junior-high students walk to the bus and recognized some driveway alignments may require adjustments or ramps for ADA compliance.
Staff will survey the two candidate locations, determine ADA approach requirements, and return with a recommended final design and cost estimate.
