After concluding the vacancy discussion, the council made a motion to enter closed session for land acquisition. The motion (made at SEG 1030) was seconded by Kevin at SEG 1039. The council held an oral voice vote; members responded "Aye" and the closed session was approved.
Next steps: staff will draft the application language incorporating the agreed questions and return the draft to the council; the council then moved into the closed session to discuss land acquisition.
