At the July 10, 2025 meeting, staff introduced a proposed boundary line adjustment application form adapted from the town's accessory-structure permit template, intended to help applicants show 'before' and 'after' lot diagrams for simple lot-line changes.
Members requested specific changes to improve clarity and prevent creation of nonconforming structures. One member asked the form indicate where existing buildings are and include measurements showing setbacks from existing and proposed lot lines. Staff agreed that such information would help ensure nonconforming structures are not created. Members also asked for a permanent north arrow on the sample plot plan to establish orientation consistency.
The group discussed formatting options — keeping the form to a single page, printing front-and-back, or using a legal-size sheet to preserve instructions. Staff said they would redraw the form with the suggested improvements and present a revised version at the next meeting.
