Council approves agenda, minutes and consent items; sets next meeting for Jan. 8

The Fielding Town Council approved its agenda and the minutes from Oct. 2 and Nov. 6 by voice vote and disposed of consent-agenda items by common consent.
Unidentified Speaker 2 called for approval of the agenda and after a motion and second the membership voted "Aye." Similar motions were made and seconded to approve the Oct. 2 and Nov. 6 minutes; both were adopted by voice vote. At the appropriate time the council approved the consent items by common consent after a mover and second were offered.
Council members also confirmed scheduling: because New Year's Day falls on the first Thursday of January, the next regular meeting will take place on Thursday, Jan. 8.
The meeting ended after a motion to adjourn that passed by voice vote. No ordinances, contracts, or budgets were adopted at this meeting.
