The city scheduled an informational meeting for Tuesday, Jan. 13 at 6 p.m. at the community center to review the proposed map changes, show affected lots and discuss potential implications for flood insurance requirements and road planning. Staff warned that some properties could be required to carry flood insurance if maps are not adjusted.
Officials encouraged property owners who may be affected to attend the meeting to view maps and ask questions.
