Glendale certifies 2025 election results; turnout reported at 67.72%

Heather Naramore of King County presented the results of Glendale’s 2025 municipal election and the council approved them at the Nov. 13 meeting.
Naramore reported 254 registered voters and 172 ballots cast, a 67.72% turnout. She listed the mayoral tally: Jeremy 118, Kate 47. For town council seats she reported Marshall Cox 87, Raleigh Franklin 115, Bruce Harris 78 and Lorraine 24. Naramore noted that several ballots were written for people who were not qualified candidates or contained names that could not be matched to qualified candidates and were therefore not counted as valid votes.
A council member moved to accept the results and the body agreed to sign the certification forms to finalize the results. The meeting record shows the signatures will be collected following the approval.
The council’s approval completes the local certification process and allows the town to proceed with any transitions tied to the newly elected mayor and council members.
