At the Aug. 6 meeting, public commenter Ani Danoff asked the board to investigate several transportation and governance issues. She reported a rock ramp installed on Missouri Route N (Town Square Boulevard) that she believes may be illegal and that is diverting runoff away from catch basins; she asked staff to look into it.
Danoff also urged the board to adopt a municipal ethics/conflict-disclosure ordinance modeled on the City of Wentzville’s approach, saying it goes beyond state statute minimum requirements. Additionally, she referenced a snow-removal bid figure of $15,000 per occurrence and suggested soliciting a bid from the city of O’Fallon because O’Fallon crews travel through Dardenne Prairie.
City officials thanked Danoff for the information; later in staff communications the city administrator said staff had struggled to obtain timely contact information from MoDOT but that Mr. Dean Hoff’s assistance had been helpful. The city indicated staff would follow up on the concerns Danoff raised.
