Among the Good Neighbor recognitions, Marilyn and Ren Meyerhoffer were cited by nominator Sharon Perry for sharing produce, repairing sprinklers and helping with lawn care. Sharon Perry also nominated Kent Meyerhoffer for tasks including mowing, installing sprinklers and helping with household moves; Shay Holly for removing and cleaning leaves; and Ken Allred for removing raccoons and skunks and providing other household help.
Aaron Butters was honored after a nomination by Sue Bridal that recounted a July 4 roadside incident in which he helped a family replace a trailer tire and manage the situation until highway patrol arrived.
City staff presented two Centurion Awards to Ellen Reedall and Orville Holly “in recognition of a lifetime of dedication, wisdom, and service,” the presenter read. A certificate of recognition named Slater Jones as the 2026 queen representing the wilderness circuit; the city citation identified her as a seventh-generation Slater from Slatorville and noted her goal of preserving rodeo traditions and promoting the sport.
History and culture awards went to Maurice Pitcher, recognized for showing his vintage car collection at local events and supporting the Art in April show, and to Kerry Wayne for sharing historic horseless carriages at festivals. The Youth Leadership Award honored siblings Sailor and Lincoln Wall after they helped remove litter from an I-15 catwalk to reduce driving hazards.
The Daryl Mecham Outstanding Community Service Awards were given to Sue Bodley (nominated by city staff) for extensive volunteer service, and to Lily and Caleb Warren for sustained volunteer work supporting the Utah Renaissance Festival and maintenance of local family farms. Brief recipient responses—"I'm honored" and "Thank you"—closed the sequence of recognitions.
