New emergency management staff member introduced; hazmat mitigation planning and training on agenda

S6 said he planned to contact Michael Morland from 2 Rivers to coordinate work on the hazmat mitigation plan for 2026. The supervisor team discussed scheduling the first Disaster Management Agency (DMA) meeting in early January and assured S6 that additional training and local introductions would follow.
The board offered a brief welcome and signaled that S6 would integrate into ongoing emergency-management and hazmat planning activities.
