The items described included invoices for roofing, tuckpointing and electrical work; a previously approved upgrade to the county’s server (paid from special projects) that now needs budget reconciliation; higher-than-expected mileage reimbursements for staff; and increased legal fees tied to contract addendum reviews.
S5 told the board the county had paid $500 to ISAC for a pipeline group and had received a $1,000 ICAP safety grant, which the county planned to use to replace battery packs on the courthouse AEDs. "We did receive our annual $1,000 for the ICAP, safety grant. And we are replacing the battery packs on the AEDs here in the courthouse with that," S3 said. The presenter noted that insurance proceeds or bonding, if received, would return funds to the special projects account.
Board members discussed line items and asked clarifying questions about reimbursements and account coding. No vote on the amendment was recorded in the transcript; staff were asked to prepare the formal amendment for processing and to bring back precise figures.
