Interlaken reports $100,000 water-to-general-fund transfer, signs FY27 roadwork bid

He recited current posted water rates discussed in the meeting and described expected transfers to reserves, including a $150,000 transfer into the water reserve fund and an anticipated roadway reserve balance target of about $250,000 by fiscal year-end.
On roads, staff said the town accepted a signed bid from Echols Paving to mill and repave sections of Interlochen Drive, Saint Moritz and Luzerne in FY27, with work scheduled after July 1; the council still needs to choose a traffic-control option (staff noted full traffic control is more expensive but likely appropriate for safety). The administrator said the contractor will perform the work during the FY27 construction window.
Procedural business: the council unanimously approved the meeting agenda and the Nov. 18 meeting minutes; members also discussed and moved to adopt a revised 2026 meeting schedule to address member travel conflicts. The administrator reported the election results were submitted to the state and that Mayor Greg Harrigan and two council members were reelected; financial-disclosure forms were requested by the end of the week.
