A motion to approve the correction slips was moved by Dorn and seconded by Adams; the minutes record a 6–0 vote in favor and the motion carried.
At 8:33 a.m. the board opened a public hearing on requests for vehicle tax exemptions for a list of nonprofit entities. The chair read the applicants into the record, including Beatrice Cemetery Association; Beatrice Community Hospital and Health Care; Beatrice Humane Society; Blue Valley Behavioral Health Center; Boy Scout Troop (as read in the record); Christ Community Church; Evangelical Lutheran Good Samaritan Society; Goldcrest Retirement Center; Mosaic; PEO Home; Saint John's Lutheran Church; Saint Joseph Catholic Church; Saint Paul's Lutheran Church; Teen Challenge of the Midlands; and Wymore Church of Christ.
