The Franklin County Board of Supervisors voted to confirm two appointments during its regular session.
Lori DeGroot applied for and was appointed to the county Board of Health; the board approved the appointment with a term to expire Dec. 31, 2028. "So the motion would be to approve the appointment of Lori DeGroot to the Board of Health with the term ending 12/31/2028," a supervisor said, and the motion carried by voice vote.
The board also approved reappointment of Tanner Miller to the Conservation Board for a term ending Dec. 31, 2030. Supervisors noted Miller has served at least one prior term and described him as active in conservation matters.
Both approvals were routine voice votes with no further discussion recorded. The appointments will be reflected in county records and personnel rosters.
