The Lucas City Council on Dec. 18 reappointed and promoted members to several boards and commissions for two‑year terms beginning Jan. 1, 2026 and expiring Dec. 31, 2027. Approved actions included reappointing John Owezick to the Planning and Zoning Commission (with Brian Dell appointed as commissioner and an alternate vacancy remaining), reappointing Tom Redmond, Brenda Rises and Rebecca Orr and naming Richard Schertz an alternate to the Board of Adjustments, and appointing Brian Bellows as a member of the Parks and Open Space Board with Michelle Miller as an alternate.
Council moved and seconded the appointments and approved them by unanimous voice vote.
